About Us
Gasconade County is
located between St. Louis and Jefferson City, in East
Central Missouri and is bordered by the Missouri River
to the north. Gasconade County is 20 miles south of
I-70, 20 miles north of I-44, and is cut in half by US
Highway 50. The average population ranges from 15,500 to
16,500, covering an area of 547 square miles. Many
choose Gasconade County as a weekend/summer getaway, as
seen by the numerous summer homes and resort locations. |

The Gasconade County Sheriff's Office is proud to
provide 24 hour service to our residents and visitors
and we are staffed by 10 Deputies, Sheriff, Chief
Deputy, and office support. The Sheriff's Department is
also a member of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement
Group (L.A.N.E.G.), which covers much of Mid-Missouri,
and we are proud to offer the following programs for the
citizens of Gasconade County:

Extra patrol where needed
Homebound senior citizen program
Operation Safe Haven
Road patrol and area watch programs
The Sheriff's Office is available to conduct
training/seminars or provide a representative to speak
to any group, club, or organization in Gasconade County.
